Events
HAE UK aims to hold a patient day each year. This is an opportunity to meet with other HAE patients and their family members and hear presentations from some of the top UK HAE clinicians. The location of the event changes each year to enable patients from all over the UK to be able to attend one without having to travel too far. We have visited London, Manchester, Cambridge, Birmingham, Bristol, Sheffield and Farnham to date.
In 2016 we held our first Scottish patient day, in Perth, which was a great success. This followed with patient days in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
In 2019 we held a youngsters only event, for HAE youngsters and their siblings between the ages of 12-24. This was a great success, with over 20 youngsters in attendance. We hope to repeat this event in the future.

In 2020 we held our 10 year anniversary virtual patient day, because of covid we were unable to hold it in person.
